<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel polymeric compound having a high light-emission intensity. <P>SOLUTION: The polymeric compound comprises a repeating unit of formula (1) (wherein Ar<SP>1</SP>and Ar<SP>2</SP>are each a trivalent aromatic hydrocarbon group or a trivalent heterocyclic group; and X<SP>1</SP>and X<SP>2</SP>are each O, S, C(=O) or the like, provided that X<SP>1</SP>and X<SP>2</SP>are not the same, and that X<SP>1</SP>and Ar<SP>2</SP>are bonded to the respective adjacent carbon atoms constituting the aromatic ring of Ar<SP>1</SP>, and X<SP>2</SP>and Ar<SP>1</SP>are bonded to the respective adjacent carbon atoms constituting the aromatic ring of Ar<SP>2</SP>) or (2) (wherein Ar<SP>3</SP>and Ar<SP>4</SP>are each a trivalent aromatic hydrocarbon group or a trivalent heterocyclic group; and X<SP>3</SP>and X<SP>4</SP>are each N, B, P or the like, provided that X<SP>3</SP>and X<SP>4</SP>are not the same, and that X<SP>3</SP>and Ar<SP>4</SP>are bonded to the respective adjacent carbon atoms constituting the aromatic ring of Ar<SP>3</SP>, and X<SP>4</SP>and Ar<SP>3</SP>are bonded to the respective adjacent carbon atoms constituting the aromatic ring of Ar<SP>4</SP>). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
