PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the quality of printed articles by improving the lowering of ink dripping quantity from an ink channel in an end portion of a head single body caused by cross talk even though a simple drive circuit is used. SOLUTION: An inkjet head is formed by arranging a plurality of ink channels spaced apart by side walls at least part of which is constituted of a piezoelectric material, and pressure in the ink channels is changed by shearing deformation of the side walls to discharge ink in the ink channels from nozzles. The width of the side walls in the direction along the arranging direction in the side walls of the end portion sides in the arranging direction of the ink channels is smaller than the ink channels located in the center in the two ink channels located at both the end of the arranging direction of the plurality of ink channels for discharging the ink.
