<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means for attaching a leg member made of a synthetic resin which does not lose holding power to an article to which the leg members are attached even when contracted by secular change. <P>SOLUTION: The leg member 1 is made of the synthetic resin, is formed hollow on the inner side, and is composed of a base part 2 and a fitting projection part 3 in a square pole shape having four side faces 3a. The side face 3a is swollen to the outer side at the center part and is capable of being deflected and deformed. In a plane view, the inner wall surface interval d of a recessed part 11 for attachment, the length e of the diagonal line, the maximum width dimension D between the side faces 3a of the leg member 1, and the length E of the diagonal line has a relation represented d<D and e>E. When the fitting projection part 3 is fitted into the recessed part 11 for the attachment, the side face 3a of the fitting projection part 3 is deflected and deformed and is attached so as not to easily fall out. Since the relation e>E is set, there is not risk that the ridge line part 3d of the fitting projection part 3 abuts on four corners of the recessed part 11 for the attachment.
