<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method with which, particularly, in one component development system, development resistance and gloss imparting are made compatible, and high gloss can be fully provided, and to provide a gloss control particle which is used for the image forming method. <P>SOLUTION: The gloss control particle are used in the image forming method, where a gloss control layer using a colorless and transparent gloss control particle is formed on an image formed at least using a colored toner, and it is fixed by a heat fixing process.
