PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of carbon nanoparticles, specially carbon nanoparticles capable of manufacturing carbon nanotubes with a simple construction. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing carbon nanoparticles which comprises generating discharge between electrodes formed with metal, characterized in that the discharge is performed in a solution 9 containing carbon atoms by using electrodes 5 made of the metal.
