PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of efficiently and continuously producing an oxygen-containing halogenated fluoride in producing an oxygen-containing halogenated fluoride. SOLUTION: The method for producing an oxygen-containing halogenated fluoride uses a gas-liquid reaction which is characterized by reacting a mixed gas containing a halogen fluoride and fluorine and a H<SB>2</SB>O source, and is represented by the general formula: XO<SB>m</SB>F (wherein X is a halogen element constituting the halogen fluoride (Cl, Br or I) and m is 3 or 4).
