PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability by stabilizing pay-out of a bill. SOLUTION: This bill storing device 10 is provided with: a roller paying out the bill P ("a kick roller 13" in Fig.1); a stage 11 arranged opposedly to the roller with the bill stacked thereon, and moved to press the bill P to the roller; an elastic body ("a spring 16" in Fig.1) moving the stage 11 to the roller side by an elastic force; and an elastic body ("a spring 17" in Fig.1) connected to the elastic body and helping the movement of the stage 11 to the roller side when an elastic force exceeding the elastic body is needed for the movement of the stage 11.
