PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synthetic resin bag body which reduces an initial tearing resistance in opening from a simply structured notch formed in a side seal part for easily and surely tearing/opening straight. SOLUTION: A side seal 2 in which a notch 4 is formed, is applied to the synthetic resin bag body. The opening 3 of the bag body is provided with a tear guide strip 5a in the bag width direction for guiding and tearing the front and back body films from the notch 4. The thick crossing part of the seal 2 and the strip 5a is subjected to pressing 7 to make the part thin and at the same time an excess resin thick 9 guide 10a after the part is subjected to pressing 7 is formed on the top and bottom of the strip 5a at a tear/open start position of the crossing part.
