PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely acquire a wear state of a tread of a tire by burying an IC tag in the tread of the tire of a vehicle and detecting the wear state of the tread on the basis of a communication state with the IC tag, to report warning about the wear state of the tread of the tire to a driver of the vehicle, to save cost, and to improve reliability. SOLUTION: The tire wear state detecting system includes the IC tag 11 buried in the tread 23 of the vehicle tire 21, a communication antenna 31 arranged on a road surface or in the ground near the surface, and a detection unit detecting the wear state of the tread 23 on the basis of the communication state between the IC tag 11 and the communication antenna 31, and outputting warning according to the wear state.
