PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method of a deposited metallic plate, with which two copper plates are surely separated into two pieces with a simple structure, even when the two copper plates developed at 180°are not separated in a normal operation and are left joined to one piece. SOLUTION: A wedge member 38 movable up and down and extending in a horizontal direction and an auxiliary pressing member 40 movable up and down and having a diameter larger than that of the wedge member are mounted on the upper side of a cathode 20a. Two pieces of the copper plates 28 are peeled-off from the cathode 20a by inserting the wedge member 38 from a gap formed between the cathode electrode 20a and the deposited copper plate 28 and moving the wedge member 38 downward, and further inserting auxiliary pressing member 40 into the gap to move downward. By the movement of the wedge member 38 and the auxiliary press member 40 in this way, two pieces of the copper plates 28 are peeled off from the cathode 20a and when being not peeled off by the wedge member 38 and the auxiliary press member 40, the copper plates are surely peeled off by raising a freely tiltable flap.
