<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water storage tank unit and a water heater using the same, improving a heat-insulation constructing performance and reducing a radiation loss. <P>SOLUTION: In this hot water storage tank unit 1 comprising a top section heat insulating material 5 covering a top face of a hot water storage tank 2, and side section heat insulating materials 3, 4 covering side faces of the hot water storage tank 2 and at least partially composed of a vacuum heat insulating material, and provided with a heat insulating material 8 for a first seal disposed on a joint outer peripheral section of the top section heat insulating material 5 and the side section heat insulating materials 3, 4, the heat-insulation constructing performance is improved, and miniaturization is achieved by using the heat insulating materials according to characteristics of heat insulating regions. By disposing the heat insulating material 8 for the first seal on the joint section outer periphery of the top section heat insulating material 5 and the side section heat insulating materials, 3, 4, the radiation loss from the joint section of the top section heat insulating material 5 and the side section heat insulating materials 3, 4 is reduced, and the efficiency is further improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
