PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform, according to the situation, a process of ensuring vacant memory capacity for image recording without exerting complicated labor on a user. SOLUTION: Imaging systems 11 to 14 photographing images of an object, a memory card 29 recording image data obtained by the imaging systems 11 to 14 and control systems 16 to 18 are provided. The control systems 16 to 18 add a plurality of pieces of attribute information according to situations when photographing to the image data obtained by the imaging systems 11 to 14 to be recorded in the memory card 29, determine the order in which the image data recorded in the memory card 29 are to be processed based on the plurality of pieces of attribute information added to the data, select one process to be executed from a plurality of kinds of reducing process to reduce data volume of the image data recorded in the memory card 29 based on the plurality of pieces of attribute information, decide necessity of the reducing process when recording the image data in the memory card 29 and execute the selected reducing process in the determined order of image data to be processed.
