PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a film while suppressing the generation of thickness unevenness. SOLUTION: A dope is discharged from a casting die 30 toward the peripheral surface of a casting drum, and a casting bead 40 is formed from an outflow port 30a of a casting die 30 over the peripheral surface. A hollow part 60a is depressurized by the suction of a suction device, and the back surface side of the casting bead 40 is depressurized. A pair of ear side seal plates 71 is provided in the X direction in the hollow part 60a of a decompression chamber 36, and the pair of ear side seal plates 71 is positioned at the upstream side in the X direction of both the ends parts 40a. The hollow part 60a is divided into three sections of both the ends chamber parts 74 and a central chamber part 75 by the pair of ear side seal plates 71. A front wind shielding member 90 is provided in the vicinity of the casting die 30 of both ends chamber parts 74. An inflow wind 400 from the outside of both the ends parts 40a of the casting bead 40 is shut off by the front wind shielding member 90, the vibration of the casting bead is suppressed, and the thickness unevenness of the film as a product is suppressed from being generated.
