PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin care preparation having a roughened skin-ameliorative effect, and preventing sensitive skin, dry skin, and skin inflammation stemming from skin drying. SOLUTION: The skin care preparation having a roughened skin-ameliorative effect contains, as the active ingredient(s), one or more substances selected from Calendula officinalis's powder or extract or extract component and/or a Chikusetsusaponin IVa and/or oleanoic acid derivative(s).
