PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening unit with a door closer which can accelerate the speed of the closing of a door body when necessary. SOLUTION: The opening unit 1, 101 or 151 comprises: frame bodies 2, 3 and 4 which are provided along a building opening; the door body 5 which is arranged in the frame body so as to be openable and closable; and the door closer 10, 110 or 160 which suppresses a closing speed with respect to the movement or revolution of the door body during at least the closing motion of the door body. The door closer is equipped with a body 11 which has a speed adjusting mechanism capable of suppressing the closing speed of the door body, and transfer members 21, 31, 35, 71, 121 and 171 which are provided in such a manner as to be capable of being interlocked with the speed adjusting mechanism of the body.
