<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the degradation of a resulting image due to errors of arithmetic results of high resolution processing, which is caused by frequent occurrence of discontinuity of frames due to scene change or high-speed movement, appearance or the like of an object contained in a moving picture. <P>SOLUTION: Image data of a frame n input to a high resolution processing part 301 and image data of a frame n' estimated by a position estimation part 101 are compared in pixel units, and when the difference of image data is smaller than a predetermined value, image data of the corresponding pixel is set to data subjected to high resolution processing, and when the difference of image data is larger than a predetermined value, image data of the corresponding pixel is set to data in which the image of the frame n is simply enlarged. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
