PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display, along with a program, capable of appropriately indicating an operation button that can be used in respective device states. SOLUTION: An FROM12 includes an effective button table 50 which indicates correspondence between the state of a projector 1 and an operation button which is an effective operation candidate in respective device states. The projector 1, upon receiving a command from a remote controller 16, refers to the effective button table 50 of the FROM12 to acquire a light turn-on information of the button which is to be effective next time based on the current state of the projector 1, which is transmitted to the remote controller 16. The remote controller 16, based on the acquired light turn-on information, turns on one of LED elements in a light array 55 that corresponds to the button.
