PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent non-hardened sealant from flowing outward of a window edge molding when assembling a window assembly with the window edge molding being adhered to a back side of a window glass to a window frame. SOLUTION: A leg part 18 is projected from a body part 16 of a window edge molding 15, and abutted on a bottom wall part 17 of a window frame 12. When a fore end portion of the leg part 18 is inclined inwardly (toward the center side of a window glass 14), a part of the pressure of a sealant 23 presses the fore end portion of the leg part 18 against the bottom wall part 17. When the fore end portion of the leg part 18 is thicker than other portion, the contact area of the fore end portion of the leg part 18 with the bottom wall part 17 is increased and the friction coefficient is increased thereby. Thus, even when the non-hardened sealant 23 presses the leg part 18 of the window edge molding 15 outwardly (toward the outer peripheral edge side of the window glass 14), the leg part 18 is hardly deformed outwardly and hardly positionally deviated. Further, outflow of the non-hardened sealant 23 from the window edge molding 15 can be prevented. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
