<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous cleaning material to be synthesized from carbonate powder of an alkaline earth metal, an aluminum sulfate aqueous solution and a fiber and a cleaning method using a porous filter made of the porous cleaning material. <P>SOLUTION: The porous cleaning material is synthesized by mixing the carbonate powder of the alkaline earth metal, which has 1,000-20,000 cm<SP>2</SP>/g of Blaine specific surface area, the aluminum sulfate aqueous solution and the fiber. Further, the porous cleaning material is obtained by mixing calcium hydroxide and/or a hydraulic material in the porous cleaning material. The cleaning method using the porous filter made of the porous cleaning material comprises a step of making water pollutant-containing water pass through the porous filter to decrease the concentration of a water pollutant or comprises a step of making a gas pass through the porous filter to decrease the concentration of an atmospheric pollutant. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
