<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device which surely attains the power supply start sequence of starting power supplies, in sequence, by starting a power supply with a lower voltage first, regardless of the state of connection of optional equipment. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming device operates with a plurality of supplies of power of different voltages. The image forming device includes a 5 V power circuit 2a, a 12 V power circuit 2c, and a 24 V power circuit 2b which generates the above power, a capacitive load determining unit 3b, which determines the capacitive load of option equipment 4 to 6, connected separately to the image forming device, and a power control unit 3c, which controls each of the 5 V power circuit 2a, 12 V power circuit 2c, and 24 V power circuit 2b, based on the result of determination by the capacitive load determining unit 3b, to cause a power supply with a lower voltage to start first for sequential starting of power supplies. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
