<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transfer a remaining amount of a desired IC card to other card at a ticket examining machine without operating a ticketing machine just before getting on a train when a user has a plurality of IC cards. <P>SOLUTION: In this remaining amount transfer system, a server is provided with a transfer reserving means for receiving transfer reservation information from a user terminal about a transfer source IC card from which a remaining amount is transferred and a transfer destination IC card to which the extracted remaining amount is added, and a storing means for storing the transfer reservation information. The ticket examining machine is provided with: a transfer determining means for determining whether an IC card read by an IC card reader/writer is the transfer source IC card or the transfer destination IC card whose transfer is reserved, a remaining amount extracting means for extracting the remaining amount from the transfer source IC card and registering the remaining amount in the server when the card is the transfer source IC card, and a remaining amount adding means for adding the remaining amount obtained from the server to add the remaining amount to the transfer destination IC card when the card is the transfer destination IC card. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
