<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a light-emitting device in which an optical axis deviation caused due to the distortion of a heated/cooled substrate is prevented; a print head; an image forming apparatus; and a method of manufacturing a light-emitting device. <P>SOLUTION: A circuit board 62 includes light-emitting sections 63. In the light-emitting sections 63, light-emitting chips S (S1 to S40) are one-dimensionally arranged on one side (surface) of the circuit board 62 along a center line (A-A' line) of a sub-scanning direction (Y); and bypass capacitors (C1 to C20), integrated circuit M and connector CON are included on the other side thereof. The bypass capacitors C are arranged in a main-scanning direction (X) of the circuit board 62; a terminals 201 and 202 are aligned in a lateral direction of the circuit board 62 and arranged astride the center line (A-A' line) in the lateral direction; and the bypass capacitors C are mounted right on a backside of the circuit board 62 and in a position astride the bonded surface of the light-emitting chips S, wherein the backside corresponds to a part in the surface of the circuit board 62 where a portion of a side surface on a longitudinal side of the one light-emitting chip S faces that of the other light-emitting chip S. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
