PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antibacterial composition which can be used not only for various industrial products and material uses, but also for food-wrapping materials and the like, and is excellent in safety and preparation stability. SOLUTION: Provided is the water dispersion type antibacterial composition excellent in safety and preparation stability, characterized by dispersing 2-(4-thiazolyl)-benzimidazole with a glyceryl fatty acid ester represented by hexaglyceryl monolaurate approved as a food additive.
