PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a correlated photon generation system capable of eliminating energy correlation caused by microstructure split. SOLUTION: The correlated photon generation system includes: a photon pair generating unit 31 that generates photons 1p, 2p correlated with each other in terms of a polarization state and an energy state; and a first wavelength converting unit 1 and a second wavelength converting unit 2 that generate converted light 1a, 2a by converting the respective wavelengths of the photons 1p, 2p to eliminate the correlation between the photons 1p, 2p in terms of the energy state.
