<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a replacement work time of piping in a water heater having a hot water storage tank connected to various piping. <P>SOLUTION: The water heater 1 is equipped with the hot water storage tank 3 storing hot water obtained by heating by a heating source, hot water supply piping 4, 5 outputting the hot water in the hot water storage tank 3, and a water gauge 6 for confirming a water level in the hot water storage tank 3. Various piping including the hot water supply piping 4, 5 are connected to the hot water storage tank 3. At replacement of the piping, when lowering the water level by discharging the hot water for preventing water leakage from piping connection portions of the hot water storage tank 3, replacement work of the piping can be carried out after confirming that the water level has dropped to a predetermined height position by the water gauge 6. Consequently, the work time can be shortened in comparison with waiting time until water from the hot water storage tank 3 is discharged when the water level in the hot water storage tank 3 cannot be confirmed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
