PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel (PDP) capable of reducing yellowing of a dielectric layer and having high quality image display by securing high luminance and high reliability. SOLUTION: In the PDP wherein a pair of substrates forming a display electrode and a dielectric layer on one of the substrates are oppositely arranged, the display electrode is formed by a glass material including at least one oxide of 0.1-5 wt.% selected from cobalt and copper, and the dielectric layer is formed by a glass material including cobalt oxide and copper oxide.
