PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll coater capable of minimizing the pressure fluctuation in a storage section formed between a pair of rollers. SOLUTION: The roll coater 1 constituted of a coating-liquid storage section 21 formed between a rotating liquid-retaining roller 11 and a rotating pull-up roller 12 that supplies a coating liquid by pulling it up from the coating liquid storage section 21, is equipped with a floating board 3 disposed in a manner floating on the coating liquid stored between the liquid-retaining roller 11 and the pull-up roller 12.
