The method involves assigning an optical camera array to a microphone array, where the microphone array consists of spiral arms (120) and microphones (121). Images are recorded by the camera array in temporally synchronized manner parallel to a data flow of microphone signals of the microphone array, where the images comprise spatial information of a measuring object. The images are brought in relation to an acoustic reference image of the measuring object immediately or at a time point, where the camera array has video cameras (140) continuously recording the information of the object.
