PURPOSE: A control method of a cloth managing device is provided to reduce consumption of electric energy consumption with simple structure, and to prevent generation of overload on the device in case the clothes are sterilized or dried. CONSTITUTION: A control method of a cloth managing device includes the following steps of: sterilizing the clothes by spraying steam to a receiving space; confirming an in-between driving condition of a heat pump to supply the hot air(S510); setting the heat pump according to the in-between driving condition; and drying the clothes by supply g the hot air to the receiving space(S530). The hot air is supplied by the heat pump having an evaporator, a compressor, a condenser, a compressor, and an expansion valve.
