APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CALIBRATING BASELINE OF GEOMAGNETIC SENSOR

PURPOSE: A baseline compensating apparatus and a method thereof without sensing compensation are provided to measure the size of output signal of a sensor and offset by compensating the baseline. CONSTITUTION: A baseline calibrating apparatus(1) of a terrestrial magnetism sensor includes an amplifier(10), a potentiometer(20), a differential amplifier(30) and a compensating unit(50). The amplifier amplifies the signal outputted from the sensor in which senses the size of the earth magnetism intensity. The potentiometer outputs the varied reference signal. The differential amplifier amplifies the difference of the signal outputted from an amplifier and potentiometer. The correction adjusts the reference signal of a potentiometer in which it is the output signal amplified through the differential amplifier changed into the digital signal.
