<p>The present invention relates to a composition comprising an aliphatic branched alcohol and glycidyl functional product esters, which are currently used in the synthesis of radical polymerisable acrylic or methacrylic acid derivatives, to be further reacted into resins for coating applications. Another aspect of the present invention is formed by the cured coating films derived from the hereinbefore defined coating compositions and applied on a shaped substrate, and more in particular on automotives.</p>
