<p>A damper comprising a cylinder (11) having a working fluid sealed therein; a rod (5) having a piston (4) moving in the cylinder (11) bonded to its one end and having the other end protruding from the cylinder (11); a closing member (22) for closing the opening of the cylinder (11) on the side of the rod (5); and a dust boot (23) fitted to the closing member (22) so as to cover the protruding portion (5a) of the rod (5) from the cylinder (11). The closing member (22) at its end face (22b) is provided with a groove portion (24). The dust boot (23) is fitted to the closing member (22) by insertion and fixing of one end thereof in the groove portion (24).</p> |
