PURPOSE: A frequency variable antenna device using a switching unit is provided to control impedance, a radiation characteristic and a resonant frequency of the antenna by changing a ground size simply through the switching unit. CONSTITUTION: A frequency variable antenna device using a switching unit includes at least two PCBs(101,102,103), an antenna unit(200), a switching unit(401,402), and a switching control unit(501,502). The antenna unit is arranged on a predetermined position of the PCB. The switching unit electrically connects the plurality of ground surfaces of the PCBs by an on-off operation. The switching control unit controls the on-off of the switching unit by the control signal generated in the internal circuit of the terminal. The ground area of the antenna unit is changed by the connection state of the plurality of ground surfaces of the PCBs.
