<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retardant resin composition having high heat resistance and flame retardancy, excellent in workability and flexibility or toughness, and useful especially to coat an electric wire. <P>SOLUTION: The flame-retardant resin composition comprises (A) 100 pts.wt. of polybutylene terephthalate resin, (B) 25-150 pts.wt. of a thermoplastic polyester elastomer, (C) 5-40 pts.wt. of at least one phosphinic acid selected from phosphinates, diphosphinates and polymers of these, having an average particle diameter of ≤10 μm, (D) 0.5-20 pts.wt. of an epoxy compound, and (E) 0.1-5 pts.wt. of an antioxidant, wherein the antioxidant (E) contains a phenolic antioxidant (e-1) as an essential component and further contains at least one selected from a phosphite-based antioxidant (e-2), a phosphonite-based antioxidant (e-3) and a thioether-based antioxidant (e-4). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
