<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric vehicle drive which consumes regenerated energy through a brake resistor and can reduce harmonic components generated from a brake chopper switching circuit. <P>SOLUTION: Each inverter 6 includes a plurality of brake chopper switching circuits 3 in parallel, wherein the phase or frequency of a carrier triangular wave of each switching circuit 8 is varied thus reducing harmonic components generated by the brake chopper switching circuits 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
