<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a membrane/electrode assembly for a fuel cell, which can maintain high output density through effective use of catalyst of a cathode by preventing liquid fuel permeated from an anode from reaching the cathode. <P>SOLUTION: For the membrane/electrode assembly for a fuel cell consisting of an anode 11 structured of catalyst and solid polymer electrolyte, a cathode 13 structured of catalyst and solid polymer electrolyte, and a solid polymer electrolyte membrane 12 formed between the anode and the cathode, an intermediate layer 14 is formed between the cathode and the electrolyte membrane. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
