PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine changing setting data as conditions for the operation of a loss compensation mode according to the result of a slot game. SOLUTION: The game machine includes: a prize ball dispensing means for dispensing prize balls if a game ball passes through a plurality of winning areas in a playfield of a game board; a game execution control means for the control to advance the play; a variable display means for variably displaying or stopping/displaying identification information; a slot game execution means for stopping and displaying the identification information on variable display according to the player's stopping operation; a loss compensation control means for controlling a loss compensation mode including a game ball collection process and a compensation process according to the progress of the play based on the game execution control means; a selecting means to be operated by the player to select the loss compensation mode or not; and a setting means for automatically setting the content of the loss compensation mode according to the result of the executed slot game if the loss compensation mode is selected by the selecting means.
