PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of fretting-fatigue cracking in a peripheral contact end part of a wedge-side teeth portion with a rotor-side teeth portion even if the thickness of the wedge is smaller than the width of slots of a rotor. SOLUTION: A coil wedge 13 of a turbine generator is provided with a plurality of slots 11 formed in the outer periphery of a rotor 10, each slot being extended in the axis direction of the rotor and each having a rotor-side teeth portion 12. The coil wedge 13 is also provided with a plurality of wedge-side teeth portions 14 which are arranged in the slots respectively along the axis direction of the rotor and can be brought into contact with the rotor-side teeth portion. In a contact surface 18 of each wedge-side teeth portion with the rotor-side teeth portion, a first groove 21 extended in the axis direction of the wedge is formed near a peripheral contact end part 16 with the rotor-side teeth portion.
