PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus and an image processing program, can suppress the generation of abnormal images, according to the original manuscript. SOLUTION: A substitution image determining part 5 analyzes at least part of an image generated, based on a document; and based on the state of the document, a substitution image is determined; and a substitution image determined by an image substituting part 6 is substituted for part of the image generated, based on the document.
