PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk drive for reducing an occupying rate of a servo control process when a disk rotates at high speed and securing sufficient head positioning accuracy when necessary in a disk drive having a function for changing the disk rotational speed. SOLUTION: A disk drive is disclosed to which a plurality of disk rotational speed modes can be set. The disk drive is configured such that input of servo data from servo sectors is thinned out by thinning out an output of an interrupt request to a CPU 21 in a high-speed rotation mode. At the time, an HDC 22 obtains servo data reproduced from all the servo sectors at timing of servo gates and stores it to a register 30. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
