PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger conveyer suppressing an increase in height dimension of a machine section owing to installation of a comb plate. SOLUTION: This passenger conveyor includes frame bodies 4 installed in a building structure 1, platform floors 14 arranged at both the longitudinal ends of the frame bodies 4, footsteps 10 endlessly connected to each other and circulately moved between the platform floors 14, and balustrades opposed to each other along the moving direction of the footsteps 10. Balustrade bases 17 supporting the balustrades by the frame bodies 4 are arranged on the frame bodies 4. The platform floors 14 are composed of floor surface covers 14A, 14B, 14D, comb plates 14P, and combs 14C. The comb plates 14P are supported by the balustrade bases 17. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
