PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a labeling apparatus can surely paste a label on an object to which the label is applied and surely and accurately sucking the label on a suction head. SOLUTION: The labeling apparatus includes a sucking part 46, a guiding part 48, a sucking part-driving section 52, and a guiding part-driving section 50. The sucking part 46 is arranged on a printing face side of the label along the transferring direction of the released label, and is provided with the suction head 44 for sucking the printing face of the label released at a releasing part 35. The guiding part 48 is arranged by opposing the suction head 44 of the sucking part 46, abutting on an adhering face of the label released at the releasing part 35, and provided with a guiding member 47 freely rotating for guiding the movement of the label released to the suction head 44. The sucking part-driving section 52 moves the sucking part 46 on which the label is sucked in the direction of the object 10 to which the label is applied. The guiding part-driving section 50 moves the guiding part 48 from the opposing position of the suction head 44 to another position when the sucking part-driving section 52 moves the sucking part 46 in the direction of the object 10 to which the label is applied.
