PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of conveying a wooden laminated mat to a compression molding device without a collapse of both the end margin parts, front and rear end parts while a scattering amount of wooden chips is decreased even when a thick wooden laminated mat is conveyed, thereby to give a wooden composite material having high strength. SOLUTION: The method of conveying the wooden chip laminate comprises laminating the slim wooden chips mixed with a binder on a continuously supplied conveyance plate with the slim chips aligned approximately in the lengthwise direction to form the continuous wooden chip laminate on the conveyance plate, and conveying the wooden chip laminate orderly to the compression molding device while the wooden chip laminate moves with both sides of the same sliding on a side guide surface wherein the wooden chip laminate is separated on this side of the compression molding device in the vicinity of a connection part of a forward conveyance plate (forward plate) and a conveyance plate (backward plate) connected to the same, a support member of a conveyance auxiliary device is made to contact the separated surface of the wooden chip laminate, and then the support member is moved to the compression molding device while being synchronized with the conveyance speed of the conveyance plate.
