PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recorder which enables extensive and highly precise variable control of an ink delivery timing, and to provide a control method of the image recorder, and its program. SOLUTION: The image recorder is equipped at least with a phase synchronizing circuit and a phase synchronizing circuit setting part. The phase synchronizing circuit generates an ink delivery timing control signal that determines a driving timing when nozzle array driving parts 14-1 to 14-n are controlled to carry out recording processing to a recording medium, and synchronizes the driving timing with a conveyance distance in conveyance information of the recording medium by controlling a frequency of the ink ejection timing control signal. The phase synchronizing circuit setting part sets information that determines a lock range of the phase synchronizing circuit as a driving timing generation condition to the phase synchronizing circuit on the basis of job information. The nozzle array driving parts 14-1 to 14-n are controlled to carry out recording processing by the driving timing determined by the ink ejection timing control signal generated by the phase synchronizing circuit.
