PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling line for both H-section steel and flat steel bar, which can roll an excellent flat steel bar without camber. SOLUTION: The rolling line for both H-section steel and flat steel bar is successively provided with a break-down mill, a first rough universal mill, an edger mill, a second rough universal mill and a finishing universal mill along the rolling line. The rough universal mill and/or the finishing universal mill are equipped with a pair of horizontal rolls 11, 12 and a pair of vertical rolls. The vertical rolls and chocks to support the vertical rolls can be exchanged by a pair of vertical roller guides 30 which restrict movement in the width direction of the flat steel bar at the entry and delivery sides of the horizontal rolls 11, 12 that are equipped with support parts 32 movable back and forth in the width direction of the flat steel bar and also with the vertical rollers 31 pivoted by the support parts 32 and contacting to the edges in the width direction of the flat bar.
