PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casting die which prevents damage and the crack to the wall surface of the cast-formed article by allowing the large friction resistance not to be acted to this wall surface when the dies are opened, in the case of especially forming a cast-formed article having a wall surface almost parallel to the advancing/retreating direction of a movable die. SOLUTION: This casting die 1 has a boundary surface 10 with a cavity 3 and is provided with: a dividing die 20 arranged by dividing a part of a fixed die 15; a first supporting means 21 which allows the dividing die 20 to be immersed in the fixed die 15 at the time of closing the dies, and supports the dividing die 20 so as to be able to project to the advancing/retreating direction of the movable die 16 from the fixed die 15 at the time of opening the dies; and a second supporting means 22 which supports the dividing die 20 in a state of being projected from the fixed die 15 so as to form the clearance between the dividing die 20 and the inner wall surface 20 of the cast-formed article 2 at the time of opening the dies. Therefore, when opening the dies, the friction-resistance is not acted on the inner wall surface 20 of the cast-formed article 2, being almost parallel to the advancing/retreating direction of the movable die 16, so that the damage and the crack on the wall surface 20 is prevented.
