PURPOSE: A backlight unit for liquid crystal display device module is provided to cover the upper surface a part of the light guide plate with the edge of the upper side of the lamp guide and to prevent light leakage generated at the edge of the upper side. CONSTITUTION: The backlight unit for liquid crystal display device includes the optical sheets(129), the light guide plate(126), the reflector(122), the lamp(124), and the lamp guide(160). The light guide plate is formed in the lower part of the optical sheets. The reflector covers the rear side of the light guide plate. The lamp is arranged according to the longitudinal direction of one side edge side of the light guide plate. The lamp guide surrounds the lamp. The protrusion(167) including the jaw(167b) is formed in the longitudinal direction of the second face. |
