An article of furniture (10) is provided comprising a frame (12), at least one support portion (14) attached thereto, and a plurality of attachment mechanisms (16) therebetween. Each of the attachment mechanisms (16) comprises a first attachment element (18) fixed to one of the frame (12) and support portion (14), and a second attachment element (20) fixed to the other of the frame (12) and support portion (14) at a position corresponding to that of the first attachment element (18). The second attachment element (20) is designed to restrain the first attachment element (18) at a desired position relative thereto so as to resist disengagement of the first attachment element (18) therefrom.
