<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device capable of preventing the degradation of illumination intensity caused by insects gathering around the lighting device in a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: In a street light based on a light-emitting diode lighting device having a solar cell panel at its upper part, the insects gathering to the lighting device can be induced to an upper space rather than a lighting light source section since a light-emitting diode for irradiation of a road surface is arranged downward on a lighting section and the light-emitting diode emitting light of a wavelength capable of inducing insects is arranged upward. Consequently, the degradation of illumination intensity caused by adhesion of the insects can be restrained in this structure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
