<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation detection device of a rotator and an image forming device, capable of detecting a highly-accurate sensor output with a simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: This rotation detection device monitors rotation of a gear 11 rotated and driven by a driving motor 14, by a photosensor 50 equipped with a light emitting diode D1 and a phototransistor Tr1. Further, a motor control substrate 16 detects by a motor lock signal whether rotation of the driving motor 14 has steady speed or not. The motor control substrate 16 lights the light emitting diode D1 continuously when rotation of the driving motor 14 has unsteady speed. On the other hand, the motor control substrate 16 lights the light emitting diode D1 flashingly when rotation of the driving motor 14 has steady speed. Further, the motor control substrate 16 determines a putting-out period of the light emitting diode D1 based on a sensor edge period of a photosensor 50, when lighting the light emitting diode D1 flashingly. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
